We love wood. Crafted by nature, wood is a natural renewable resource. It’s a great insulator, naturally keeping your space much warmer and cosy than imitation flooring. From the very beginning, even before we made our first floor our ethos was simple; to design and produce a floor covering that was sustainable, strong and hardwearing, a floor covering that would last a lifetime helping the environment not harming it.
A Commitment To Sustainability.
As part of our commitment to sustainability we only use responsibly sourced materials. Responsible forest management ensures reforestation is controlled and new trees are planted when one is harvested. All harvesting is done lawfully using sound environmental practices overseen and certified by PEFC ensuring these forests will be around for generations to come.
Going Further.
We are going further, helping to grow forests around the world with our environmental partner one tree planted, an environmental charity that supports reforestation around the globe. For every floor we produce we will donate to one tree planted to help plant trees where they are needed most. Not only does every tree that is planted help absorb harmful pollutants and release clean oxygen into the air, through your purchase you are directly helping to rebuild natural habitats allowing bio diversity to thrive and helping to improve the lives of the local communities who depend on the forests the most.
